At Reinsfelder, teamwork and expertise are at the core of every successful haul. Recently, our drivers Tank and Victor took on the challenge of transporting 362 breakers from Charleroi, PA, to Platteville, CO. Moving specialized equipment like this requires the right experience and the proper trailer setup to ensure a safe and efficient journey.
For this haul, a mini deck double drop trailer was used, designed to handle oversized loads while keeping the cargo as low as possible for clearance requirements. This setup was crucial in accommodating the height of the breakers and ensuring stability throughout the trip. With over 1,300 miles to cover, Tank and Victor navigated a variety of terrain and road conditions, from Pennsylvania’s winding highways to the open stretches leading into Colorado.
Transporting oversized loads across multiple states requires careful planning, from securing permits to mapping the best route to avoid low bridges and weight-restricted roads. Thanks to their experience and the coordinated efforts of our logistics team, the haul was completed smoothly and on schedule.
Another successful transport in the books, proving once again that at Reinsfelder, we get the job done safely and efficiently, no matter the challenge.

It was a great run with my brother Victor!
