Some loads test a driver’s skill at every turn—literally. That was the case for George, who recently hauled a 47-foot-long, 15’6”-wide building module from Wisconsin to Virginia.
This trip wasn’t just about the miles. With tight turns and a wide load, George had to stay sharp and follow his permitted route exactly. His 80,000-pound module stood 13’6” tall and took up plenty of space on the road, making every turn a challenge. With such a large load, precise navigation was key.
To make sure the trip went smoothly, George had a high-pole escort out front, checking for overhead clearances, and a chase vehicle behind him to monitor traffic and provide support. With their help, he maneuvered through tight spots and tricky turns, keeping everything on track.
Thanks to careful planning and expert driving, George delivered the module right on schedule. Another oversized load, another job well done!
